Previously, EA had announced on July 16th that ‘The Sims 2’ would be “retired” and offered owners of the game the opportunity to upgrade their copy to the ‘Ultimate Collection’ for free at Origin.
Origin members can enter code I-LOVE-THE-SIMS to begin their ‘The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection’ download free of charge. Interested shoppers can log into their Origin account (new members can download and install Origin here) and select ‘Redeem Product Code’ from the ‘Game’ tab. ‘The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection’ download contains ‘The Sims 2’ game as well as every single expansion pack and stuff pack previously pack released for the game.
